On Saturday, March 9, a Women’s Breast Health Expo is coming to Grand Rapids, featuring the SoftVue breast tomographic ultrasound. The expo will feature leading breast cancer advocacy organizations including The American Cancer Society, Operation Breast Density, and Susan G Komen, as well as a Corewell oncologist and the Corewell community education team.

The Expo will provide information about what women need to know about breast cancer screening, breast cancer risk, what it means to have dense breasts as well as cancer treatment support. Visitors to the Expo can also check out local women-owned businesses offering unique products and services.

SoftVue, developed by Delphinus Medical Systems of Novi, MI, addresses the critical need for an effective, comfortable breast cancer screening solution for women with dense breasts. Approximately 40% of women have dense breasts, making them 4 to 6X more likely to develop breast cancer.
